Meet The Team

Diane is retired but volunteers as the Kitchen Manager at Love in Action. She loves connecting people with Jesus. She is a mother of 7,  grandmother of 18, and has 10 great-grandchildren.

Diane has a BA in Business Management with a major in accounting and physical education, and she loves to line dance!

Doris is a military spouse of 29 years who loves traveling and doing missionary work around the world. She is passionate about helping people and being an encourager. Doris loves being a mother, spiritual mother, grandmother, and Godmother to many. She loves cultural diversity and has a gift for connecting others, and she enjoys helping others figure out their purpose and seeing people reach their goals. BA in Human Services and a Master's in Social Work.

Erica Dunsen is a Maryland native who loves serving her Grand Forks community. This
mother of three is the Administrative Director of Jersey Mikes Subs in North Dakota,
South Dakota and Minnesota. She is the Community Involvement Chairperson for the
Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals. Erica has hosted hospitality for the Polar
Bear Plunge for the North Dakota State Troopers since 2024. She has served as Valley
Middle Schools PTO President for two terms. Erica is a member of the Grand Forks
Cultural Committee. This entrepreneur still finds time to own her own business teaching
Servsafe, event planning, and personal chef services.

Janet is a child of the Most High who loves God’s people and encouraging them in their faith journey. She is passionate in her love for the Lord, her family and her friends. She is the mother of 3 and is happily married to her husband, Kevin. Janet enjoys connecting with others, reading and helping in her community.

Kristen is a woman that loves Jesus and loves people. She is blessed to be a mother of 3, a grandma of 6, and a wife to Jeff. She loves to travel and enjoys learning about different cultures. She can spend hours over a cup of coffee getting to know someone and just listening and learning from them. Being a part of Love in Action has been such a blessing to her in so many beautiful tangible ways.

Vernon is a 29 years Air Force retiree that loves teaching, reading, and studying healthy living. He enjoys spending time in prayer, fasting, and loves helping people reach financial goals and physical wholeness.  He holds a BA in Business Administration and hopes to encourage others to develop a healthy lifestyle.
